Working groups are another fundamental pillar of ecovillage. These forty groups organize the activities of the village, for example:

• the maintenance of the biological chicken coop,
• honey production,
• the renting of shared vegetable gardens,
• the management of biodynamic market gardening (by 100 families: members of the ecovillage for the most part but also inhabitants of the rest of the village of Hjortshoj),
